Todd S. Gute, AIA, LEED AP

Todd S. Gute is the President of MAYOTTEgroup and has been with the firm since 1994.

Over the course of his 30 year career in architecture, Todd has managed projects of many types, including commercial, office, retail, and industrial spaces. Since joining MAYOTTEgroup, Todd has maintained a strong relationship with Auto-Owners Insurance Company and has provided superior leadership on projects for many of their national branches. Todd has a particular passion for teaming with religious organizations to build and renovate churches and other related buildings.

Todd serves on the Grand Ledge Planning Commission, has been a Mentor with Kids’ Hope since 2009 and is a participant in the Lansing Schools’ ACE (Architects, Contractors and Engineers) Program.

Matthew J. McGaughey, AIA

Matthew J. McGaughey has been with MAYOTTEgroup Architects since 2001.

As Vice President of Production, Matt has taken on the responsibility of shaping the firm’s processes and procedures which ensure that, by producing quality and timely documentation, MAYOTTEgroup continues to be an industry leader in the Mid-Michigan region. Matt coordinates the production staff while maintaining a number of long-standing collaborative relationships with clients such as YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing, the City of East Lansing, and the State of Michigan.

Matt is an active member of the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects, serving as an officer on the Executive Board and collaborating with professional colleagues at the state and national levels. This engagement has reinforced the importance of educating the general public and legislative members about the impact architecture has on the built environment and society as a whole.

Nicole Osgood-Badgero

Nicole Osgood-Badgero has been bringing innovative and artistic design to MAYOTTEgroup Architects’ projects since 1998.

As Vice President of Interior Design, Nicole leads and manages staff to ensure that the interior design and functional goals of each project are fulfilled. She has driven such projects as the Accident Fund National Headquarters, the South Campus for Auto-Owners Insurance Company, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Michigan Municipal League’s Capitol Office, NCG Xtreme Theater, Emergent Biosolutions, and the creation of branch standards for several local credit unions. Her involvement in a project goes far beyond finish and material selection as she takes an active role in helping her clients use their building to support their brand identity and develop an overall vision for their facilities through the implementation of facilities standards.

Nicole is an active member of the local chapter of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) where she serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of the local branch of the USGBC. Nicole actively supports Ele’s Place through fundraising efforts in both Lansing and Grand Rapids and has been involved in various committees for the City of Portland’s Michigan Main Street program.
